COOKING PROCESS:
Now, let’s get into the cooking process.
v The Basmati rice should be carefully washed before saturated for 30 minutes. Drain, then set aside.
v Cooking oil and ghee should be heated in a substantial, heavy-bottomed pan. When the onions are added, cook them until they are golden brown. To use as garnish, take half of the cooked onions out of the pan.
v The remaining onions in the pan should be fried with the ginger-garlic paste until the uncooked smell is gone.
v Add the yogurt, biryani masala, and chopped tomatoes. Cook the masala till the oil splits from it.
v Add the desired amount of chicken and simmer until just hardly tender.
v Add the drained and saturated rice to the pan at this point. Combine everything with attention.
v To cook the rice, add enough water (nearly 4 cups). After adding salt, bring it to a simmer.
v When the rice is cooked and the meat or veggies are soft, turn the heat down to low, cover the pan with a tight-fitting cap, and let it rumble for about 20 to 25 minutes.
v Add saffron-infused milk to the top of the biryani while it cooks, then garnish with the set aside fried onions, mint leaves, and coriander leaves.
v Recover the pan and bubble on low heat for a further 5 to 10 minutes to allow the flavours to mix.
v Your amazing Biryani is ready for plateful! Serve warm with salad or raita.
