Paneer Biryani

How to Cook Paneer Biryani:

  • In a large mixing cup, add yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt with the cubed paneer. Gently combine to coat all of the paneer pieces. For around 30 minutes, let it marinade to use.

  • After a complete wash, soaking the Basmati rice for a total of thirty minutes. Ditch and preserve.
  • Ghee and cooking oil are heated in a large, heavy-bottomed pan. Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, green cardamom pods, bay leaf, and cumin seeds. They should be sautéed for a minute to unleash their unique odor.
  • Add the onion slices, which have been finely sliced, and cook them till golden brown. To use as garnish, take half of the cooked onions remove from the pan.
  •  Include the diced tomatoes and green chilies. Cook the tomatoes just until they start to soften and the oil starts to separate.
  • Add the paneer that was previously marinated to the pan and quickly cook it until it turns a light golden color.
  • Cover the paneer mixture with half of the partially cooked rice.
  • Spread half of the mint and the leaves of coriander throughout the rice.
  •  Carry out the process again with the leftover rice and spices.
  • Place a tight-fitting cover on the pan and heat it over low heat. The rice should be soft and the flavors should have combined after 20 to 25 minutes of cooking.


Final Assembly
:

With a fork, gently fluff the Paneer Biryani, mixing the layers slightly. Garnish with saved fried onions, fresh coriander leaves, and mint leaves.
